Comparable Market Analysis

Buyers will compare the price of your home to other properties for sale and to those that recently sold. Your agent should provide you with a Comparative Market Analysis. This will show you recent sale figures, which you can analyze for a suggested listing price of your property, as well as the days that each property was on the market. When real estate is booming and prices are rising, houses may sell in just a few days. When the market slows down, properties can be on the market for months. Also included will be those properties which were on the market, but failed to sell, reflecting that they were possibly over-priced initially.
